Air Ventilation
As a part of our design process, we worked with our architect to install an innovative ventilation system. The school has been divided into specific areas with dedicated fresh air intake and energy recovery ventilators. iWave Generators have also been added to our ventilators to provide an additional layer of air filtration.
Smaller Classromm Size
Classroom sizes are limited to ten students with two teachers and groups will not interact with each other during the day. This allows us to maintain social distancing guidelines as well as promote maximum teacher and student engagement.
Cleaning Protocol
All classrooms and its contents will be cleaned to exceed all Department of Health standards. All classrooms will also go through a deep cleaning process at the end of the day. As per the NJ State Guidelines, a 2-step cleaning process will be implemented. Centers for Disease Control recommended soaps and sanitizers will be used in all areas.
Our Facility
Social Distancing
Each of our Little Ivies will have his or her own desk along with their materials needed for the day’s activities. To ensure the safety of our students and faculty, our classrooms are designed with their own exit door. Students are dropped off and picked up directly to and from their classrooms and hence have minimal to no interaction with students from other classrooms.
